Urgent, Emergency and Trauma Care We're here to give you the treatment you need, when you need it. UTMB Health offers four Emergency Rooms--among them one of the region's only level 1 trauma centers. They are staffed 24/7 by physicians and registered nurses who are specially trained and certified in emergency medicine. Complementing our ERs, a growing network of Urgent Care Clinics are nearby to offer immediate care to treat minor illnesses and injuries not requiring a visit to an emergency room.
