Dr. Janice Wilson is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist with a cosmetic focus on Botox, fillers, and lasers. In her cosmetic practice, she works with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan to reach their personal cosmetic goals.
Originally from the Houston, she returned to the area for medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston on a full scholarship, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. After completing her dermatology residency at UTMB in 2016, she stayed on to pursue a dermatopathology fellowship the next year, when she was nominated for outstanding fellow of the year. Subsequently, she remained at UTMB on faculty and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Wilson has published in multiple peer reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at regional and state dermatology meetings. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is also heavily involved in medical student and resident education. She serves as the Associate Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Program, and also as Director of the Dermatology-Hematology-Musculoskeletal medical student course. She is a mentor to many medical students and residents, and has received multiple teaching awards from the UTMB School of Medicine and the Department of Dermatology.
