Learn everything you need to know about your upcoming birth and how to take care of your baby in this childbirth course taught by the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health).

Our hands-on approach to teaching comfort techniques will enhance your learning experience as you practice relaxation skills during each class.

The course includes a hospital tour and written materials. All expecting moms are welcome to join our childbirth education classes.

Parking will be validated
Please wear comfortable clothes
Each mother may bring one support person to each class

Breastfeeding Classes

Breastfeeding Classes Virtual

Join our class to learn about:

  • Benefits of Breastfeeding
  • What to expect on the first days of breastfeeding
  • Building your milk supply

This is an educational course taught by a Lactation Consultant or an experienced Registered Nurse to provide education on what to expect the first days of breastfeeding.

To register, please use the Virtual Prenatal Breastfeeding Class registration form on this page. A zoom link will be sent to your email within 24 hours of registration with class information and joining instructions.

Virtual Class (Hosted on Zoom)

Monday: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.​
Wednesday: 9 a.m. -10 a.m.
Cost: Free
Virtual class hosted on Zoom
Spanish Translation available on the 2nd Monday & Wednesday of the month.
