This educational opportunity is a one-hour live presentation offered free to organizations who are interested in enhancing the initial care provided to patients with burn injuries. Registered Nurses caring for burn patients will learn the current standards
of care for burn injuries and proper patient preparation for transfer to a burn care facility to achieve optimal wound healing as well as minimize morbidity and mortality.
Learning Outcome(s): 80% of learners will have an increased knowledge by stating a practice change related to the care of the patient with a burn injury.
Nurses who attend this presentation will receive 1.0 Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours.
You must be present for the entire presentation to obtain credit.
