The open enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace (part of the Affordable Care Act or “ACA”) for 2026 coverage is from November 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026. To have coverage begin on January 1, 2026, you must enroll or change plans by the deadline of December 15, 2025. If you enroll between December 16 and January 15, your coverage will start on February 1, 2026.

- Wellpoint: Wellpoint Texas Essential
